As the Director of the Cascade Institute's Geothermal Energy Office, Peter leads a team of interdisciplinary experts to advance geothermal power. Beyond analysis, Peter works to convene and coordinate the Canadian Deep Geothermal Coalition to deliver Canada's first Deep Geothermal Roadmap.
In his work with the federal government, Peter led techno-economic analysis of energy technologies and systems to inform the design and delivery of major energy programs and policies. He also played leading roles in strategic policy development and was the Senior Advisor to the Director General of the Electricity Resources Branch.
Peter holds an M.A., Sustainable Energy Policy from Carleton University.
